This year, we at Sacred Ground are continuing a journey to see, experience, and enjoy “The Holy Now.” We invite you to do the same.
What is The Holy Now?
Take the Buddhist concept of mindful presence, combine this with the Christian ideal that the Sacred is always all around us, and we come to The Holy Now. In mindful awareness, we feel and recognize the sacredness that abounds. Opening our eyes, hearts, and spirits, we can find the sacred in any moment. It begins with stillness and the breath.
Where are you seeing, experiencing, feeling, or recognizing the sacred in your everyday life?
This is a dialogue we can continue here online and in other places in our lives. Together we can realize more Holy Now Moments, adding to the lightness, joy, connectedness, and wonder that benefits us all.
Here is a photo of the Christmas Rose (Helleborus niger) alive in our backyard right now. The Holy Now is here - in this plant, in our eyes, in our yard, in this moment.
Please join us. Let us (and others) know where you are seeing and experiencing The Holy Now.
Let the journey begin...
